With a fleet of 31 trucks, we've got a virtual "pipeline on wheels" able to get through almost any weather and road condition. With our highly trained service staff, combining 550 years of experience, we don't just deliver oil, we maintain your heat and hot water systems continually...for comfort you CAN take for granted.

You Can Relax
Direct delivery of fuel oil to Schildwachter is by barge on Westchester Creek, so weather never gets in the way. Each barge is tested for purity of product, compliance with rigid specifications and temperatures. Our newest 2,000,000 gallon Bulk Storage tank raises our storage capacity to nearly 5,000,000 gallons. This means, you'll always have fuel no matter how severe the winter gets. Plus, greater storage on our part means more peace of mind for you, our customer.

State-of-the-Art System Monitoring
All year, we track the weather to provide on-time deliveries straight to your door. Using a state-of-the-art computer system and special delivery forecasting software, we monitor your system's performance, so we can determine when you will need your next delivery based on the weather. We monitor your fuel consumption using degree days for the best accuracy to develop a customized fuel use rate for you.

Government Certified Terminal
Direct from our 5-million-gallon storage facility in The Bronx, our 31-truck fleet takes great pride in automatic deliveries that make your life easier. Our fleet of modern delivery trucks undergoes a rigorous maintenance schedule that assures peak performance and our truck oil delivery meters are all certified for accuracy and sealed by the New York City Department of Weights and Measures.

Brake-Loc Receipt System
The Schildwachter family pioneered the use of the truck-mounted fuel oil meter-printer that prints actual delivery receipts for the customer. The innovations of the Brake-Loc system ensures individually printed delivery receipts while truck brakes are locked until the delivery is completed and the meter-printer releases the brakes. Making sure you get your receipt quickly, on the spot, right after each delivery. It's the best way to be sure you get every drop you pay for. We call it the "Every Gallon Guarantee".
