Website Navigation and Use

Welcome to the Schildwachter website, developed to give you easy access to information about our company and the services and products we offer. You do not have to be a current customer of Schildwachter Fuel Oil to navigate to the various information links within the site.

If you are a current active customer of Schildwachter Fuel Oil, then you will be able to go to the customer login area and after entering your valid active account number and a website password that we will supply to you, you will be able to see current information regarding your account with us.

You will see the dates of the last three fuel oil deliveries you received, the number of gallons and the cost per gallon at the time of delivery.
You will see your current account balance and the date and amount of the last payment you made. If you are on our budget plan, you will see the amount of your monthly budget payment and the date and amount of the last budget payment made.
Also shown are the dates of the last service call on your heating equipment and the date of the last system tune-up.
Finally, you are also able to make secure credit card payments toward your account from this area of the website.

American Express, MasterCard, Visa or Discover Card!

If you have a bank debit card with the Visa or MasterCard logo on it then you may also use it here - as long as it does not require that you enter a pin number to use it. Pin number based debit cards may not be used here.

Making payments

At the billing name entry area, your name, as it appears in our account records has been automatically filled in. If the name on the credit card you are using to pay your bill is a different than what appears here, then please correct it. In the next field down, enter the amount that you want to pay in dollars and cents. Below that is a spot where you click to actually make the payment. When you click on this line, you are moved out of the Schildwachter website and over to the VeriSign payment systems website.

We chose to use VeriSign because your information is secure here. Please follow the instructions shown to make a payment.

One of the questions asked is for you to fill in a valid email address. You do not have to supply one if you do not want to. However, if you do supply one, then when your payment transaction is approved and completed, the system will email you a receipt. Any changes made to your account record such as payments, oil deliveries, service billing or account adjustments will be shown here within 72 hours of that change.
