 Good News for Our Customers... It's back! The tax credit for  has been reinstated in New York! Schildwachter Oil is proud to offer , an alternative fuel which is 20% domestically grown soybean oil and 80% low-sulfur heating oil. It's a win-win situation: you'll be using a clean and efficient heating fuel and you'll receive a tax credit for using it.
Gov. David Paterson has restored the tax credit that was originally enacted by Gov. George Pataki but had lapsed in mid-2007. Schildwachter customers once again have the great opportunity to receive this credit when they use to heat their homes.  For each gallon, consumers will receive a $.20 tax credit AND this is retroactive as of January 1, 2008...Furthermore, the New York state Biofuel tax credit will extend for "Four More Years!" to 2012. If you are like most consumers and use, for example, 1,500 gallons of a year to heat your home, thanks to Schildwachter you'll be receiving $300.00 per year back from New York State!
To help you take advantage of this tax credit, Schildwachter will furnish you a statement of actual purchased in 2008 together with the New York State Clean Heating Fuel credit form IT-241 for your personal New York State Income Tax Return. Even if you do not have to pay any New York State income tax, you will still receive a $.20 per gallon payment from the state!
